Since August 1, 1947, our goal has been to provide Dawsonville and Dawson County Georgia, with the best quality of products at a fair price; with the knowledgeable and gracious service, that all of us Americans deserve and expect from our fellow man. Our motto has been and always will be , "Give Them What They Want And They Will Give Us What We Want". Treating our customers as we would want to be treated is important to us.
Understanding our position in a small town, has been the biggest challenge. Doing what we do, has taken us from being the only home improvement store in the county, during the 40's; with only 3500 residents, to the oldest business among several big box stores here in the 2000's; with more than 25,000 good people looking for solutions to their various repair needs.
Mom and Dad, who started this establishment in the 40's, grew up here as I did. Many changes have occurred and many characters have passed though during the 64 years we have been here. This web site is a collage of what we do. It shows, that "if we don't have it, we can get it" attitude; we've developed over the years. If a patron can't wait a couple of days to solve their problem; then we'll suggest some of our local stores that might have a solution.
